Roaring 20s Prohibition speakeasy dinner & a murder party

3 watt silicon flame tip light bulbs create intimate lighting for dinner & a murder party.
The bar & food buffet for a dinner & a murder party set in a 1920s speakeasy nightclub during Prohibition.
The disco ball may be bit ahead of its time for this 1920s speakeasy theme dinner & a murder party. The candle light reflects off the tinsel table skirts used as window treatments.

Chinese lantern casts a red glow which is appropriate for a 1920s speakeasy night club that alledgely housed a bordello.
A salvaged painted carnival carousal panel sheds minimal light over the Chinese consol laddened with cocktail snacks.
High wattage bulbs swapped out for light low in the guests’ powder room.

Vintage finds like mason jars, soda pop bottles & a red flyer wagon set the tone for thie 1920s Prohibition party.
Tall paper straws were dunked in vintage soda bottles as to conceal the hooch being comsumed at this 1920s Prohibition theme party.
Antique crystal champagne coupes and vintage Baccarat cordial glasses served the bubblies and hooch.

Period appropriate food served at the 1920s Prohibition dinner and a murder party
Mini red velvet cupcakes served on a cheeky cake stand.
Each dinner & a murder guest was shot with Impossible Project’s instant silver tone film which looked as though they were shot in 1920s.

Circus popcorn sleeves & motel sparkling glass bags added a kitschy element to the guests’ crime solving kits.
Invitations to the 1920s Prohibition dinner and a murder party were crafted from a roaring 20s paper doll book.
This sign was posted on the bedroom door so that no one would enter during the party. The implication is a brothel is housed behind the door.

The evening entertainment was postponed due the character’s untimely death at the dinner and a murder party.

This ‘leave your weapons at the door’ sign was placed over a vintage fire pail that had water pistols spray painted matte black to cater the Prohibition gangster theme.
