Lauren and I have been engaged in a bit of a staring contest with respect to the AC. We’re both waiting for the other to blink before insisting on working in a less sweltering environment. I quite detest the air conditioner with all of its concentrated blowy, never quite comfortable manufactured air and it seems LC feels the same way, although given the near triple digit temperatures in NYC recently, we are stubbornly suffering.
It begs to ask ‘what are you tolerating’ right now?
Are you currently locked a staring contest with your bedroom closet? Do you stand in front with the doors wide open lamenting you have nothing to wear, but the hang rod is bowing under the weight of its contents?
Or maybe you’ve accepted that it will take you an additional 15 minutes to get out the door because you are forever searching for the keys or forgetting where you last left your wallet.
Perhaps you want to spend less money on take out and start cooking more, but your kitchen set up isn’t conducive to easy access like the ones on the Food Network.
We all suffer with various forms of clutter & chaos – so much so that we’ve fooled ourselves into believing that it is okay, we can live with it or that we are somehow saving money and time by not doing anything about it. And the truth is living better organized gives you freedom, time & money to pursue and achieve the things you really want out of out of life.
So, I will ask again what are you tolerating right now?
