I’m moderately obsessed with the idea of dividing up a pastel colored map and framing the individual sections in inexpensive frames – of course in the same color and hanging in the accurate order. I’m currently trying to strong arm a client into this idea for his guest room with a New York City map as a welcome greeting for his constant stream of visitors. The maps could be framed without glass, so it could become an interactive experience by tagging a particular location of interest. Each guest could receive their own color for coding! Little notes, recommendations & suggestions could be pinned for the next guest!
Ok, so now I am fully obsessed with this global idea.
